Annapurna region is finest explained  as the most happening enticement trekking trail of about 300kms trails in the Annapurna mountain   ranges in the Nepal Himalayas .Trek starts right  from  Besisahar and goes along the Mashyangdi River, with great view of Manaslu and Himal Chuli. The trek accomplishes an altitude of 5,416m at the throrung la pass, connecting the periphery of the legendary Tibetan plateau.

With the glorious mountain vista view includes includes Annanpurna 8,091m, ice pyramid Dhauligiri 8,167m, the home of the legendary Buddhist guru  Padmasamba, and Machhupuchhare 6,993m, are few of the beautiful mountains in the world. As the trek go down to the west at Mukthinath from Manang, the route goes to the unproductive Tibetan like village of the kali Gandaki and the World’s deepest gorge passes between the giant Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains at dana is one of  the exciting part of this trek.

The Annapurna circuit treks follows the early paths used for trade routes between Nepal and Tibet which trails encompasses extended ease of cultures and religions in this remote and previously remote Zone. This type trail rounds the complete Annapurna massif offers a spectacular assortment of people and landscapes, beginning from lowland to alpine meadows to the Tibet.

Trip itinerary

After your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), our correspondent will be there to welcome you to the Himalayan country. We will pick up you in private vehicle and transfer to hotel. After your arrival we will be briefing you and prepare for the trek. Overnight at hotel.

Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Chame via Besisahar. It takes 6 hours drive by private vehicles and 7/8 hours by public vehicle to reach Besisahar. From there we will hire private jeep head towards Chame in another 4 hours. Overnight at lodge.

The trail follows through the river valley, stay at Pisang for the panoramic view of Pisang peak and Annapurna II. We will have to walk four about 5 / 6 hours to reach Pisang. We can enjoy the view of mountains as well as monastery in Pisang. Overnight at lodge.

Walk through the fields of grazing Yak and a wide variety of crops. This large Tibetan Nepali settlement provides good views of Annapurna II, III , IV and Gangapurna. It takes around 5 / 6 hours to reach Manang. Overnight at lodge.

This is a rest day to acclimatize to the higher altitude.There will be time to visit monasteries, take advice from Himalayan Rescue Association and observe the spectacular views from the Himalaya. Overnight at lodge.

We move through alpine pastures to scrubby forests of juniper and rose to reach Leder whcich takes about 5 hours. Overnight at lodge.

Walking near by the river; sometimes possible to see herds of blue mountain. We will reach Thorang Phedi in about 4 hours. We will have to walk the ascending trial as we will be heading towards the high pass route. Overnight at lodge. 

After breakfast we prepare for the trek of 7 / 8 hours. We ascend steeply to high camp at 4550 m then along an undulating trail to the flat top of thorong-la ( 5416m). From here, the trail descend steeply down to Muktinath. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sights for Hindus, it is also home for many ethnics Tibetans and holy Buddhists. We will visit around the pilgrimage site. Overnight at lodge. 

After breakfast we head from Muktinath to Marpha which takes about 5 / 6hours by walk. We gently descend towards Jhorkot from Muktinath which is one hours walk from Muktinath, here is an ancient monastery. From here we will directly descend towards Kagbeni, here also we will see an ancient monastery. From Kagbeni we will reach Jomsom after 2 and half hours walk. Those who did not want to complete Annapurna Circuit can stay at Jomsom and next day fly to Pokhara. But, we are on the journey for Annapurna Circuit for this we have walk 1 and half hours to reach Marpha. Stay overnight at lodge.

(Note: We can hire vehicle from Muktinath to Marpha which takes about 3 hours to reach there and then explore the beautiful and exotic Marpha village along with the amazing landscape of Mustang, similar to Tibet.)

We start our journey towards Ghasa which takes about 5/6 hours. We cross between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain range, from where we can see panoramic views of Tukuche Peak, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Pisang peak. We will slightly descend towards Ghasa. After walking 1 and half hour we will reach Ghasa.  Stay overnight at lodge.

We descend gently towards Tatopani it will take 6/ 7 hours walk to reach Tatopani. This day we will walk along the Kaligandaki river, we will see world’s deepest gorge which is known as Kaligandaki Gorge, This gorge is formed between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range. Overnight at lodge.

This day we have to be prepared for long and little hard walk. We ascend towards Ghorepani from Tatopani it will take 8/ 9 hours walk to reach Ghorepani, on the way we will see scenic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri, Tukuche peak, Annapurna south, Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Fishtail, Lamjung Himal and many more mountains. Overnight at lodge.

Early in the morning we will walk one and half hour to reach Poon Hill from Ghorepani, from where we will see beautiful panoramic views of whole Annapurna range including Dhaulagiri and also we will enjoy beautiful view of sunrise. After around one hour we will return to Ghorepani for breakfast and descend towards Tikhedhunga or Hile, we will walk 4 or 5 hours to reach Tikhedhunga or Hille. Overnight at lodge.

After breakfast we will descend gently towards Nayapul after walking 3 to 4 hours. After reaching Nayapul we will hire a taxi to Pokhara. It will take one and half hour by taxi to reach Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

There is flight to Kathmandu after every half and hour. We will have enough time to explore around Pokhara.  Afternoon fly to Kathmandu, It will take 25 minutes flight form Pokhara to reach Kathmandu. Otherwise we can drive by private vehicle 5 hours and 7 hours tourist bus to reach Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

This day will be a free day in Kathmandu. In meantime we can do sightseeing at the different places listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites like: Boudha, Pashupatinath, Swoyambhu and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel.
