1 . KATHMANDU
Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal, with a population of 2 million. This city is also popular as the city of temples. This city has the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites out of ten. Also whichever narrow alleys you head upto, you will most probably come across a temple worshipped everyday..
A) Swoyambhunath :
Swayambhunath is among the oldest religious sites in Nepal also the most sacred among Buddhist pilgrimage sites. It is one of the world heritage site listed in UNESO. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. Both of the temples have a similar structure consisting of a white dome at the base roofed by a golden cubical structure in which eyes of Lord Buddha are painted. Both the temples have number of shrines and gompas. You can see the most beautiful panaromic view of the city from the upside of the temple. Also there is a garden where you can relax and take good view of the Swoyambhu and the idols.
B) Pashupatinath
Pashupatinath is the most famous sacred hindu pilgrimage. The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. This is also one of the heritage site listed in the UNESCO. Especially in the Festival MAHA SHIVARATRI over 800,000 devotees visit here. They pray and worship whole day by taking fast whole day.
C) Bouddhanath Stupa
Boudhanath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along with Swoyambhu, it is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Kathmandu area. Tibetan merchants have rested and offered prayers here for many centuries. When refugees entered Nepal from Tibet in the 1950s, many decided to live around Boudhanath. The Stupa is said to entomb the remains of Kassapa Buddha.

There are mainly Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The Kathmandu Durbar Square in front of the old royal palace of the former Kathmandu Kingdom is one of three Durbar (royal palaces) Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Durbar Square was surrounded with spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries. The Patan Durbar Square is one of the newar architecture. There are many temples and idols in the area. The main temples are aligned opposite of the western face of the palace. The entrance of the temples faces east, towards the palace. The Square also holds old Newari residential houses. There are other temples too and structures in and around Patan Durbar Square.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. t is a UNESCO World Heritage Sites .Many tourists attraction is toward the pachpann jhyale durbar.
2. Lumbini
Within 6 hours of drive from Kathmandu covering 305 km of distance, anyone can approach Lumbini. Lumbini is a birthplace of Light of Asia and is a holiest place for Buddhist pilgrims from around the world. The beautiful monasteries built by various nations so far and the peaceful gompas are a treat to watch. In Lumbini, mostly Buddhism followers can be encountered as it is such a sacred place for Buddhists. Many beautiful statues of Lord Buddha along with lively prayers of monks can be heard around such monasteries. The beautiful sights of architecture, cheerful monks, religious pilgrims, sacred monasteries and of course the relaxing, peaceful environment are an incredible experience in Nepal.
3. Pokhara
Pokhara is the beautiful destnation for the local as well as foreigners. There are numberous of palce to visit which whill blow your mind away. The beauty and the natural diveristy the Pokhara offers is worth spending for.The Pokara city lies in the Annapurna Region and also the entry point for Annapurna trek. Here you can see the mesmerising view of the 8,00 metre peaks Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu from the city. The Machhapuchre (Fishtail) with an elevation of 6,993 metres (22,943 feet) is the closest to the city. In the first day you can visit the Lakeside, Taal Barahi, one of the hindu temple in the middle of the lake, you can visit the Davi's Fall, Gupteswor cave and White Gumba. The next day you can visit the Sarangkot before sunrise in the morning to explore the beutiful view of sunrise and the Himalaya range.
3. Chitwan
Chitwan is the place rich in flora and fauna. Here Nepal's first national park, the Chitwan National Park together with the adjacent Parsa National Park support a species diversity much higher than any other on the Indian subcontinent. Rare species includes Bengal tiger, gharial, rhino, leopards, mugger crocodile, Indian rock python and several species of deer. The protected areas are guarded by a battalion of the Nepal Army and patrolled by anti - poaching units.
