The trek from Kharta to Kangshung is probably a best trek for lover of adventurous and all geographical scenery. The highest point on this trek is the Langma La Pass (5,320 meters), which offers outstanding views of Makalu, Lhotse and Mt. Everest. In summer, the land becomes a green sea of alpine grasses and flowers. The entire region from the Kharta to the Kama Valley, extending to the Arun Valley in Nepal, is one of the parts of the blessed land of Guru Rinpoche, known as “Belyul Khebalung”, or the Hidden Valley.
