The itinerary can be customized according to your duration of holiday. Similarly hotel can be upgraded or downgraded depending on your requirement.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our correspondent who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Once checked in, we will arrange a pre-trip meeting where we will brief in short about the trek, answer any queries you have and meet your trekking guide as well. After the short brief, you can relax and spend rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

This day is a reserve day as we need to prepare the Special Restricted Area Trekking permit for trekking in Rolwaling Valley Trek.  Meanwhile, this will be free day in Kathmandu for UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE sightseeing / mountain flight to see beautiful views of Everest range and so on..

  • Patan Durbar Square: Home of several ancient places, temples, statues, religious objects, former royal palace (museum).
  • Boudhanath: One of the largest stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Pashupatinath: A sacred Hindu temple complex on the banks of the Bagmati River.

After breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu, we begin our scenic drive eastward to Charikot, a tranquil hill town in the Dolakha district. The journey takes around 7 hours, depending on road conditions, and offers a gradual transition from bustling city life to the calm of the mid-hills.

As we leave the capital behind, the road winds through charming towns and villages like Bhaktapur, Dolalghat, and Mude, passing terraced fields, lush forests, and hillsides dotted with local homes. On clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks in the distance.

By afternoon, we reach Charikot (1,980 m), known for its fresh mountain air and panoramic views—especially of Mount Gaurishankar (7134 m), a sacred peak in the region. Upon arrival, we’ll check into a local lodge or hotel where you can relax, stretch your legs, or enjoy a peaceful sunset before our trekking adventure begins. Overnight stay in Charikot.

After an early breakfast in Charikot, begin your5 hours first day of trekking toward the scenic Kuri Village, nestled just below the revered Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple. The trail ascends gradually and takes about 5 hours, offering a peaceful walk through serene forests and traditional hillside settlements.

The path winds through dense woodlands filled with trees, where you may hear birdsong and encounter local villagers going about their daily routines. Scattered traditional houses, prayer flags, and terraced fields dot the landscape, giving you a glimpse into rural life in the mid-hills of Nepal.

As you climb higher, the air turns crisp and the views open up—offering panoramic glimpses of surrounding hills and distant snow-capped peaks. By afternoon, you arrive at Kuri Village (3200 m), a peaceful hamlet known for its mountain charm and dramatic highland setting.

After checking into a cozy lodge, you can relax or explore the village on foot, soaking in the cool mountain air and scenic beauty. Overnight stay at a lodge in Kuri Village.

Today you begin the day early with breakfast in Kuri Village, followed by a short but steep 1-hour uphill hike to the sacred Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple—a revered Hindu shrine perched atop a ridge at 3842 meters. Surrounded by prayer flags and alpine serenity, the temple draws pilgrims from all over Nepal and offers a tranquil, spiritual experience.

From the summit, you’re rewarded with panoramic mountain views, including Mt. Gaurishankar, Jugal Himal, Numbur, and, on a clear day, even parts of the distant Annapurna range. Looking down, the quaint rooftops of Kuri Village blend beautifully with the rolling hills.

After soaking in the vistas and the spiritual ambiance, we begin a long descent toward Bigu Gompa, which takes about 8 hours on foot. The trail winds through alpine meadows, thick forests, and remote hillside paths, offering moments of solitude and raw Himalayan beauty. Though challenging, the route is peaceful and rarely crowded.

By late afternoon or evening, you reach Bigu Gompa—a serene Buddhist monastery nestled among pine-covered hills. Known for its spiritual calm and monastic community of nuns, it offers a welcome place to rest and reflect after a full day of trekking. Overnight at a lodge or guesthouse near Bigu Gompa.

Today you begin the day with breakfast at Bigu Gompa, a tranquil monastery nestled in the hills and home to a vibrant community of Buddhist nuns (Aani). Before setting off, you can take time to explore the monastery grounds, interact with the nuns, and walk through the peaceful village surroundings that reflect the spiritual and simple way of life in this remote region.

After the morning visit, prepare to start your trek toward Laduk, a traditional Tamang village located at an altitude of 2050 meters. The trail descends gently through a mix of terraced farmland, forests, and scattered settlements, offering a chance to observe daily rural life and the unique cultural practices of the region.

The walk takes about 5 hours, with scenic views of rolling hills and distant mountains accompanying us along the way. Upon reaching Laduk, a quiet and welcoming village, we check in to a local lodge. The evening is free to relax or connect with locals for a deeper cultural experience. Overnight stay in Laduk.

After breakfast in Laduk, begin your descent towards Jagat, following a trail that gradually leads us to lower elevations. The walk today is mostly downhill or along a relatively gentle path, making it a more comfortable day compared to the previous ones.

As you trek, you pass through several small villages where you can observe the traditional rural lifestyle of local communities. The surroundings become greener and warmer as we lose altitude, and the trail often follows the river valley, offering pleasant views and fresh mountain air.

By afternoon, you arrive in Jagat, a small village situated along the riverbank. It serves as a common stopover for trekkers and travelers heading into the Rolwaling region or descending from it. Overnight stay at a lodge in Jagat.

After an early morning breakfast in Jagat, begin your trek toward Simigaon, a beautiful Sherpa and Tamang village perched on a ridge above the valley.

The trail starts off relatively easy, following a straight and gentle path for a while. As soon as you reach a bridge and cross the Tamakoshi River, after which the trail starts to climb gradually. The uphill walk takes you through lush forests, terraced fields, and scattered village homes, offering scenic views of the surrounding hills and river below.

After about 5 hours of walking, arrive at Simigaon, where you'll notice a peaceful atmosphere, traditional houses, and a Buddhist monastery overlooking the village. Overnight stay at a lodge in Simigaon.

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the local monastery in Simigaon, a serene spiritual center that holds deep importance for the community. Nestled on a ridge, this peaceful monastery offers a glimpse into the region’s rich Buddhist heritage, and staying nearby allows you to soak in its tranquil atmosphere.

Following the visit, you set off on the trail toward Kelthang Kharka, gradually ascending through lush rhododendron and pine forests. The path leads us deeper into the alpine zone, with occasional clearings offering views of the surrounding hills and distant peaks.

The trek today takes about 6 hours, becoming more remote and peaceful as we climb higher. By late afternoon, you will reach Kelthang Kharka, a beautiful high-altitude pasture surrounded by forests and mountain scenery. Depending on the setup, we’ll either camp here or stay in a basic lodge. Overnight stay at a lodge or campsite in Kelthang Kharka.

Today, you trek for about 6 hours to reach Beding, a vibrant Sherpa village nestled in the mountains. The trail includes both uphill and downhill sections, winding through beautiful forests of pine and rhododendron.

Along the way, you will cross several suspension bridges over rushing streams, adding to the adventure and scenic charm of the trek. The air is fresh, and the natural surroundings peaceful as we make our way toward Beding.

Beding is one of the largest Sherpa settlements in the Rolwaling region, known for its rich culture, warm hospitality, and stunning views of nearby peaks. Stay overnight at lodge. 

Today, you can enjoy a relatively easy trek of about 4 hours as we walk from Beding to Na. The trail is mostly straight and gentle, making the hike comfortable and enjoyable.

Along the way, you will pass through beautiful pine forests and can admire stunning views of the majestic Mount Gaurishankar, one of the highest peaks in the region.

We will reach Na in time for lunch. Na is a high alpine settlement and is mostly used as a summer village by the locals. After resting and exploring the area, we stay overnight at a lodge.

Today is an important rest and acclimatization day to help your body adjust to the higher altitude. After breakfast, we take a day hike to the spectacular Tso Rolpa Lake, one of Nepal’s largest glacial lakes, located at about 4580 meters.

The hike up to the lake is moderately challenging but rewarding, with stunning views of glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and alpine landscapes. At the lake, you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before heading back down to Na. Overnight at lodge.

After breakfast, begin your trek from Na towards Thangthing Kharka. Today’s hike takes around 7 hours as you continue exploring the beautiful Rolwaling region.

The trail passes through alpine meadows, forests, and high pastures. You’ll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys along the way. The path includes some uphill and downhill sections, making it a moderately challenging day.

You will reach Thangthing Kharka in the evening, where you stay overnight in a comfortable lodge.

After breakfast, you begin trek from Thangthing Kharka to Jaisar Kharka. The journey takes about 6 hours and includes both uphill and downhill sections as we walk through peaceful forest trails and alpine meadows.

From Jaisar Kharka, you can enjoy spectacular views of the majestic Gaurishankar and other surrounding Himalayan peaks. The area is known for its stunning natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. Stay overnight at tented camp.

After breakfast, we start our trek from Jaisar Kharka back down to Jagat. Today’s hike takes about 7 hours, mostly descending through forests, terraced fields, and small villages.

The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and rivers as we make our way to lower elevations. Along the way, you can enjoy the changing scenery and observe local village life.

We will reach Jagat by evening and stay overnight at a comfortable lodge.

Today, after breakfast, we leave the mountains behind and drive back to Kathmandu by private vehicle. The drive takes about 8 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic.

Along the way, you’ll see changing landscapes—from lush river valleys and small villages to the busy towns as you approach the Kathmandu Valley.

Once we arrive in Kathmandu, you can relax at your hotel or explore the city on your own.

Free day in kathmandu for shopping / rest / buying souveniers, etc. 

Enjoy your last day in Kathmandu before departure. At your scheduled departure time, our correspondent will pick you up from the hotel, transfer you to the airport, and bid you farewell with warm hearts.
