2 Nights 3 Days Chitwan Tour Detailed Itinerary

The itinerary can be customized according to your duration of holiday. The same itinerary can be followed for tour from Pokhara to Chitwan.  

Similarly, hotel can be upgraded or downgraded depending on your requirement.

Today you will drive via Tourist Bus from Kathmandu to Chitwan whcih takes about 5-6 hours. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will check in hotel. The staffs will welcome you with welcome drink and brief about the hotel and program of 2N/3D Chitwan tour. After checking in you can have lunch. 

After lunch rest for a while and in the evening prepare for Tharu/Darai Village Tour. After the tour, you can enjoy sunset in Rapti river. Buffet Dinner. Stay overnight hotel in Chitwan.

Note:

  • Note: If you are travelling from Pokhara to Chitwan, it takes about 4-5 hours (approx 160 km) in tourist bus. Also, possible to hire private vehicle or fly in 20 minutes from Pokhara to Chitwan (Bharatpur Airport).
  • It is also possible to travel by flight from Kathmandu to Chitwan or V.V at an extra cost of USD 120 per person (one way).

This day you will have breakfast in the morning and then prepare of the most adventurous and exciting Jeep Safari. The safari will be of 3-4 hours. During the safari, you can see floras, faunas, and different animals like one-horned rhino, countless species of deer, Bisons, and if you are lucky you will have encounter with Royal Bengal Tiger.

After safari you will have lunch and then you will go to visit Crocodile Conservation Project. Established in 1971, the Gharial (distinguished from other crocodiles by its narrow snout) conservation center has been breeding this endangered species and releasing them to the wild every year. At the evening, you will go for canoeing and end your safari for the day. Then at late evening, you will enjoy Tharu Cultural Dance. The dance is an age-old tradition of the Tharus and is usually performed to appease the gods during religious festivals. Stay overnight hotel in Chitwan.

In the morning, you will have breakfast and after that you will at 6:30 am depart from Chitwan hotel and return back to Kathmandu in Tourist Bus. Upon arrival in Kathmandu End of Services!

Note: It is also possible to travel by flight or private vehicle from Chitwan to Kathmandu / Pokhara. It takes 25 minutes by flight, 4-5 hours by private vehicle.
