Difficulty Level of Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho and Ghorepani Trekking – 14 Days Trek
The Annapurna Circuit withTilicho Lake and Ghorepani - Ponnhill is a difficult trek, graded HARD best for people who are physically fit and ready for a big adventure. It is harder than the normal Annapurna Base Camp trek because you will walk for longer hours and reach higher places.
Each day, you will walk for about 6 to 8 hours, including uphill climbs, rocky trails, and high passes. The trek takes you to Tilicho Lake (4919 m) and over Tilicho Pass (5200 m) and Thorong La Pass (5416 m), Ghorepani (2750 m) & Poonhill (3200 m) — which are very high and cold areas.
You don’t need to be an expert or have done many treks before, but you should be in good shape. If you do regular walking, hiking, or exercise, it will be easier and more enjoyable.

Altitude Sickness & Remedies during Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho and Ghorepani Trek in Nepal
Altitude sickness, or Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), occurs when your body doesn't adjust well to the low oxygen levels at higher elevations. During Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek and , the highest point is Thorang La Pass - 5416 meters — high for some trekkers to experience mild to moderate symptoms.
