Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our correspondent who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Once checked in, we will arrange a pre-trip meeting where we will brief in short about the trek, answer any queries you have and meet your trekking guide as well. After the short brief, you can relax and spend rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Today we will drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi which takes about 5-6 hours’ drive. We will have breakfast in the morning, and then get ready to depart from the hotel.

We will leave hotel around 7 or 8 am in the morning and then drive north through beautiful hills to reach Syabrubesi, passing through the town called Dhunche (our trek ending point) on the way. Stay overnight at lodge in Syabru Besi.

Syabrubesi is a small town situated within Langtang National Park and gateway for Langtang Valley Trekking & Tamang Heritage Trail Trek. Nestled at 1460 meter, Syabrubesi is 95 kilometers from Kathmandu which can be reached within 5-6 hours. Syabru lies in the bottom of a hill and the banks of Trishuli river, white-water rafting river. It is possible to reach Syabrubesi via private vehicle (5-6 hours) or public bus (7-8 hours).

Today after having breakfast in the morning, prepare to trek towards Gatlang which takes about 5-6 hours of walking.

The trek begings with steady ascending trail for next 2.5 hours along the forested hills and passing through traditional Tamang settlements. Along the way, trekkers are treated to beautiful views of Ganesh Himal and the Langtang range. Also you get to meet local tamang people and community (one of the ethnic groups of Nepal). Gatlang is a charming village rich in Tamang culture, with distinctive stone houses and traditional hospitality. Tatopani, which means “hot water” in Nepali. Tatopani is known for its natural hot spring, and many people from around Nepal come here to take a bath, believing it can help heal skin problems. Trekkers can relax in the natural hot springs (though the original ones were affected by the 2015 earthquake and may be partially restored), making it a perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate after a long hike. Overnight at a lodge in Tatopani.

Today after having breakfast in the morning prepare to trek towards Thuman via Nagthali which takes about 6-7 hours of walking.
