Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our correspondent who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Once checked in, we will meet you in hotel & brief in short about the trek, answer any queries you have and meet your trekking guide as well. After the short brief, you can relax and spend rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Today morning after having breakfast in the hotel prepare to begin your journey to Ghalegaun via Besisahar. 

You will drive in morning from Kathmandu to Besisahar whcih takes about 5-6 hours of drive. Besisahar is the headquarter of Lamjung district. Upon arrival in Besisahar you will relax for a while before going to Ghalegaun. Again, you will have to drive for another 2 hours to reach Ghalegaun.

Ghalegaun is a beautiful traditional Gurung village located in the hills of Lamjung District of Annapurna region. It is one of Nepal's pioneering community-based tourism destinations and is famous for its authentic Gurung culture, stunning mountain views, and warm hospitality. 

Upon arrival in Ghalegaun, you will be welcomed by local villagers with garlands and Tika. Ghalegaun village has major settlement of Gurung community (one of the major ethnic groups of Nepal). You can rest for a while and at night you can enjoy Gurung cultural show organized by local’s women community. Stay overnight at homestay and enjoy local food.

Today morning you will explore around Ghalegaun village and a simple hike to the view tower of Ghalegaun from where you can see whole Manaslu range including Lamjung himal, Annapurna III, IV, Machhapuchhre. 

After exploring Ghalegaun, get ready to begin the trek to another Gurung village, Bhujung via Ghanpokhara. You will have to hike for about 1 hour to reach Ghan Pokhara village. Ghan Pokhara is also one of the beautiful Gurung village with traditional house and settlement of Gurung community giving other chance to explore traditional culture, locals. You will have lunch in Ghanpokhara and then descend towards Bhujung which takes about 3 - 4 hours.

Bhujung Village is one of the largest and most traditional Gurung settlements in Nepal, located in the beautiful hills of Lamjung District. The village is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, traditional stone houses, terraced farmlands, and warm hospitality. The village offers a unique opportunity to witness the authentic rural lifestyle of the Gurung people, including their farming practices, daily activities, customs, and traditions that have been preserved for generations. Bhujung is particularly famous for its vibrant Gurung culture and traditional community life. Visitors can stroll through the narrow stone-paved alleys, interact with local families, and experience the genuine Nepali hospitality. 

Bhujung village is also known for its traditional honey-hunting practices, an ancient skill passed down through generations. Leaving behind the picturesque village of Bhujung, the trail gradually leads through dense forests, terraced farmlands, and scenic hillside paths with occasional views of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, you will experience the untouched natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of rural Nepal while passing through small settlements and enjoying the peaceful countryside.

Upon arrival, you will reach Pasgaun, a tranquil and authentic Gurung village renowned for its traditional lifestyle, warm hospitality, and beautiful surroundings. Today marks the final day of our short cultural trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. After breakfast, you will leave the peaceful village of Pakhurikot and drive towards the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, a journey of approximately 2–3 hours.

The scenic drive passes through lush forests, terraced farmlands, and charming hillside settlements, offering your last glimpses of the traditional countryside and the rural landscapes of the Annapurna region. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can relax and enjoy the comforts of the city after several days of village trekking.

Today you will prepare to visit one of the popular destinations for tour where you get to experience the wild life and complete different cultural than from Annapurna region.

You will drive from Pokhara to Chitwan in private vehicle which takes about 5-6 hours (145 km) by private vehicle.

As you reach hotel in Chitwan, you will be provided with briefing about the program / activities in Chitwan and then you will rest in hotel for a while. In afternoon, you will have lunch and then head to Tharu village walk (Tharu: one of the ethnic groups of Nepal) and visit Tharu Cultural Museum. Tharu people are indigenous to the area, and their culture is very unique, different from what can be found in Nepal or even India. Or those who prefer to explore jungle can opt to go for Jungle Walk where you can watch birds, flora, fauna and get the whole nature experience. At the evening, you will have presentation from the experts about Chitwan National Park, animals and so on. Stay overnight at 4-star hotel in Chitwan.

This day you will have breakfast in the morning and then prepare of the most adventurous and exciting Jeep Safari. The safari will be of 3-4 hours. During the safari, you can see floras, faunas, and different animals like one-horned rhino, countless species of deer, Bisons, and if you are lucky you will have encounter with Royal Bengal Tiger.

After safari you will have lunch and then you will go to visit Crocodile Conservation Project. Established in 1971, the Gharial (distinguished from other crocodiles by its narrow snout) conservation center has been breeding this endangered species and releasing them to the wild every year. At the evening, you will go for canoeing and end your safari for the day. Then at late evening, you will enjoy Tharu Cultural Dance. The dance is an age-old tradition of the Tharus and is usually performed to appease the gods during religious festivals. In the morning, you will have breakfast and after that you will at 6:30 am depart from Chitwan hotel and return back to Kathmandu.
